Pledge Your Support for Your Local Music Scene

We, ThaWilsonBlock, are seeking supporters who want to help build and establish a foundation for the local music scene through a campaign we call #Pledge7

We are asking supporters to contribute $7/mo, or 25 cents a day, toward an artist development center that will help prepare local, untapped talent for their unconventional career path in the arts.

Our vision for an artist development center include:
-Artist Co-Op
-Studio Facilities
-Business Arts related programs & workshops
-Seminars and keynote speeches
-Membership access
-and so much more...

If you'd like to learn more about this campaign before making a pledge, feel free to contact Mistah Wilson directly at (626)817-6978

NWMS chats with Legends of Rock chorus director Paul Caldwell

by Andrew Hamlin

The Seattle Women’s Chorus regales us with “Legends of Rock,” celebrating female voices in the music at least as far back as Tina Turner, at least as far forward as Florence Welch. That’s Sunday, April 28th, at Benaroya Hall, featuring Aeysha “Musicbox” Brooks and special guest Sarah Rudinoff.  Chorus director Paul Caldwell was kind enough to take a few questions.
